Today we are located at 1018 1st Street near the intersection of Main Street in Downtown Napa in the heart of the Legendary Napa Valley. Baker Street Downtown aims to provide all the premium Cigars, our own blended pipe tobaccos, premium cigarettes and accessories you need as well as a large variety of great gift products to meet the lifestyles of today's discerning man and woman!

It is our goal to be a comfortable and fun place to shop with convenient hours, while giving you a place to meet fellow Cigar and Pipe smokers in either our cozy indoor lounge, at our outdoor tables or during our monthly customer Cigar Smoker Events. Smoking is permitted in the store and Wifi is available. Baker Street Downtown is open for your convenience 7 days a week and evenings.

Why the name Baker Street when we are located on 1st Street? Baker Street Downtown, a.k.a. Baker Street Tobacconist, a.k.a. Baker Street Tobacconist Clocks and Gifts, a.k.a. Baker Street Time is a nod to Sherlock Holmes known for his appreciation for fine tobacco products among other things... who resided at 221B Baker Street in London, England, hence our English decor, the British flag that flies below our American flag, the names of our custom-blended pipe tobaccos and Sherlock Holmes memorabilia in the store. We are about fun and lifestyle! It's Baker Street Time... Time to Enjoy life! The store was originally called Lynell's and was started by two women who owned it for about a year in the 70's. They sold it to Bob Ryan who had it for about three years, who sold it to Michael Hackett who had it for four years when current Proprietor Brenda Roberts purchased it in August of 1986. Bob Ryan changed the name to Baker Street Tobacconist way back when and it has been some variation of Baker Street ever since. The original store was on Jefferson Street in Napa and for a little over five years, there was a 2nd store in St. Helena at the North end of Napa Valley... that store was eventually moved to our present location in Downtown Napa and the original location closed and combined into the current larger location in Downtown Napa....
